Students can connect devices, visualize data, and control projects from wherever they are - it’s the easiest way to get started with the IoT.
Get the most out of your School Plan with the Explore IoT Kit. Teach students how to build internet-connected objects, such as a home security alarm, a classroom counter, and an urban farming device with 10 fun, creative, step-by-step tutorials and projects.
The kit includes all the necessary hardware, online content, and access to the Cloud.
Can I reuse my plan seats with different students during the year?
School plan works on a pay-per-seat basis. As long as you have a number of active seats, you can change who is using them anytime.
If your classroom size changes, you can also adjust the number of seats included in your plan anytime.
What devices can I use with Arduino Cloud?
Arduino Cloud can be used from any desktop computer or laptop running Windows, Mac, Linux, or a Chromebook running Chrome OS.
In terms of boards, Arduino Cloud is compatible with a wide range of Arduino boards, as well as ESP32, ESP8266, and Raspberry Pi devices. You can find a full list of compatible devices here.
What happens to my projects if I no longer have the School plan?
All projects are stored in the cloud, and can be accessed as long as you have access to your personal account, regardless of the plan.
If you no longer have the School plan, you and your students will still be able to access all the devices, sketches, projects and dashboards created while having the plan.
However, the feature limitations of the Free plan will apply, which can affect the functionality of some projects.
Do I need a fast internet connection to use Arduino Cloud?
Arduino Cloud required a stable Wi-Fi connection, but is not demanding in terms of speed. If the internet connection is temporarily lost, your students will not be interrupted - all progress will be saved locally, and synced to the cloud as soon as the connection is restored.
