The only feature that needs a specific plan is the “Phone as Device” in** background mode**, that can be used starting from the Maker plan.

No. Dashboards can only be created from your browser accessing the Arduino Cloud dashboards section.

What is the “Phone as Device” feature?

The Phone as Device is a Free feature that allows users to monitor the phone sensor data with a ready-to-use dashboard. The dashboard, device and thing are created on the fly when the feature is enabled. If you want to use this feature when the app is in the background, you need to enable the “background mode”. Background mode is available starting from the Maker plan.
